Service Area

BrightHorizon Rehab serves patients from across West Virginia and the surrounding Appalachian region. Our residential program admits patients regardless of geographic origin within the United States, with admissions counselors who coordinate travel and out-of-state insurance arrangements directly.

Primary Service Area

Kanawha Valley: Cross Lanes, Charleston, South Charleston, St. Albans, Dunbar, Nitro, Institute, Sissonville, Elkview, Pinch.

Surrounding West Virginia counties: Putnam, Lincoln, Logan, Boone, Mason, Jackson, Roane, Clay, Fayette, and Cabell.

Regional reach: Huntington, Beckley, Parkersburg, Morgantown, Wheeling, Martinsburg, and the eastern panhandle.

Out-of-State Patients

We regularly admit patients from eastern Kentucky, southern Ohio (including Lawrence, Scioto, and Gallia counties), and the southwestern Virginia coalfields. Family members traveling to participate in scheduled family-systems work can stay at lodging options near the facility; admissions can provide recommendations.

Outpatient Program Coverage

Our PHP and IOP tracks are appropriate for patients who can commute to the facility within roughly a one-hour drive. The morning IOP track is most commonly accessed by patients in Kanawha and Putnam counties; the evening IOP track draws from a wider regional radius and supports patients continuing to work in Charleston, Huntington, and the surrounding cities.
